How To View Outlook Inbox Mail In ZenCase

Overview

The Mail feature allows users to view their Outlook inbox emails directly in ZenCase without having to leave the application.

Once on the Mail list page, you can perform various actions:

  • View Mail

  • Compose And Send Email

  • Reply To Email

  • Forward Email

  • View Mail Folders

  • Create Custom Folders

  • Create And Use Templates

  • Associate Matters To Email

  • Create And Use Signature

  • Filter Emails

  • View Emails From Matter Page

  • Sort Mail

How to View Inbox

Important Note: Your account should be connected to Outlook. If you are not connected to Outlook, you will see a "Connect" button which you can click to connect to Outlook.

  • Go to the Mail list page by clicking on the "Mail" button in the left navigation sidebar.

  • You will be redirected to the Inbox folder page.

  • You should be able to see all incoming mail on this page.

  • Click "Sort" button to sort mail by date, subject or importance.

  • You can perform various actions with incoming mail:

    • Mark as read

    • Mark as unread

    • Add matters

    • Remove matters

    • Edit priority

    • Move to other folders

  • Click on message on the left side.

  • You will see message details on right side.

  • From message details you can:

    • Reply to message

    • Reply all

    • Forward message

    • Mark message as important

    • Move message to Deleted folder

    • Move message to Archive

    • Change matters

    • Edit priority

    • Move message to another folder

    • Download message

    • Add task

    • Edit tags

    • Mark message as unread

  • In the top left, click on the three horizontal lines icon. This will open a left sidebar that will show all of your subfolders for your Inbox root folder.

    • There will be an arrow icon ">" next to the word "Inbox" that you can click to open up all of the subfolders.
