1. Has your firm signed up for and completed onboarding with LawToolBox?
Ensure your firm has worked with LawToolBox to complete onboarding. This process includes training and quality assurance (QA) within the LawToolBox Admin Portal.
2. Has the integration been enabled?
When viewing a matter, confirm that the LawToolBox link is visible.
If the link is not visible, ensure the integration has been connected and onboarding has been completed with LawToolBox.
3. Are firm users unable to connect the integration?
Ensure the SurePoint user is assigned to an admin role.
Verify that the user’s email address exists in LawToolBox.
4. Has a matter not been synced to LawToolBox?
A user can manually sync the matter from the contact card while viewing the matter.
If the matter has been synced but deadlines cannot be created, check the History link in Firm Settings within the LawToolBox integration.
Errors for failed sync attempts are logged there and will provide details about the issue.
5. Does the matter name in SurePoint Pro contain fewer than five characters?
LawToolBox requires matter names to be more than five characters.
Matter names with fewer than five characters will not sync.
A corresponding error message will appear in the integration History.
