Prerequisite: Firms must have an account with LawToolBox before connecting the Integration in SurePoint Pro. The firm should reach out to LawToolBox to complete necessary onboarding steps for the LawToolBox platform.
1. Has your firm signed up and onboarded with LawToolBox?
a. Ensure your firm has worked with LawToolBox to complete onboarding, this will include training and QA in the LawToolBox admin portal
2. Has the Integration been turned on?
a. When viewing a matter do you see the LawToolBox link?
b. If not, ensure the Integration has been connected and onboarding is completed with LawToolBox
3. Firm users cannot connect the integration.
a. Ensure the SurePoint user belongs to the admin role, and the email address exists in LawToolBox
4. If a matter has not been synced to LawToolBox?
a. A user can sync the matter while viewing the matter in the contact card? If the matter was synced but deadlines cannot be created check the History link in Firm Settings within the LawToolBox integration. Errors are logged for the matters that could not be synced that will outline the details for the error.
5. What if the matter in SurePoint Pro has a name with fewer than five characters
a. LawToolBox has a requirement that matter names must be more than five characters, Matter name with less will not sync and a message will be found in the history of the Integration
