From SurePoint Pro Release 6.4.0 there is now an integration with Law Toolbox.
Law Toolbox has a rule-based management of deadlines, so it allows Law Firms to create deadlines. They take into account jurisdiction specific rules / county specific rules.
Law Toolbox helps generate deadlines and provides reminders to ensure these deadlines are not missed. As missing deadlines, they are at risk of malpractice in some cases.
Please Note: It is a prerequisite that a Law Toolbox account be set up with complete onboarding in order to allow connection to SurePoint Pro.
The Law Toolbox Account / ID will be required in order to share Matter information between Law Toolbox and SurePoint Pro.
We can create matters. We'll also create the members that are in the Practice Pro site and send those to Law Toolbox, and then users will have access to an 'iframe' within the Matter card on Practice Pro to see those be able to set up those deadlines as they need to.
Once deadlines are set up they are auto-generated into the user's calendar.
To open Law Toolbox, first find Firm Settings from the dropdown menu
From Firm Settings select the 'Integrations' Tab
Scroll until you find the Law Toolbox section
When a Firm onboards to Toolbox they are given a firm ID, (SurePoint can create that firm ID if help is required). The firm ID to ensure that all the Firm information and members are kept securely.
There is the ability to synchronize the Matters to Law Toolbox.
These Matters sync immediately and are ready start 'Deadline setting'.
This can be set for 'All Active Matters', or as selected 'Date Range' of Active Matters.
Now we can view a Matter:
On the matters page select a Matter. When selected there is now a Law Toolbox Tab. Clicking the Law Toolbox Tab will bring up the 'iframe'
The user can now go in and set deadlines.
These deadlines are then on a created in Ourtlook Calendar.
Shortcut from Matters List for a single Matter Sync with Law Toolbox:
Users are able to sync with Law Toolbox on a 'one by one' basis directly from the Matters List. Using the ellipses, select 'Sync with Law Toolbox' from the dropdown menu.
Once set up in Law Toolbox the deadlines are feeding directly into your Outlook Calendar.
