Overview
ZenCase allows you to create custom LEDES billing format templates which can be configured at the client, matter, and invoice levels in which to generate LEDES invoices with the corresponding template.
How To Setup Custom LEDES Template For Pre-Bills
You can setup a custom LEDES billing template to be default for pre-bills with LEDES enabled.
Go to the Pre-Billed list page by clicking on "Pre-Billed" in the left navigation bar.
On the Pre-Billed list page, click on a pre-bill number in the "Pre-Bill #" column.
You should be redirected to the Pre-Bill edit page.
In the top header bar, click the "Settings" button.
When the right panel opens, you will see a LEDES section if LEDES is enabled for the firm.
Select in the "LEDES File Template" dropdown your custom LEDES billing template.
Your selection should auto save.
Close the right panel and your option will be set on the pre-bill.
Congratulations! You have successfully configured a custom LEDES billing template as the default template for your pre-bill.
When you generate the pre-bill as a final invoice, then the LEDES invoice will be generated using your new custom LEDES billing template.
