How To View Expense Report In ZenCase

Overview

You can view all of your expense details directly in ZenCase from the Reports page. This report will show all of the expense details for each member:

  • Member

  • Expense Status

  • Invoice Number

  • Invoice Date

  • Expense Amount

  • Expense Amount Paid

  • Expense Cost Type

  • Expense Bill Type

  • Expense Bill Rate

  • Expense Quantity

  • Expense Description

  • Client

  • Matter

  • Vendor

  • Billing Code

  • Payments

  • Expensed At

The total summaries at the top of the page will display:

  • Total Expense Amount

  • Total Billed Expense Amount

  • Total Expense Amount Paid

  • Total Expense Amount Unbilled

  • Total Billed Unpaid

  • Total Expense Outstanding

  • Total % Due

How To View Expense Report

  • Go to the Reports page by clicking "Reports" from the left navigation bar

  • On the Reports page, click "View Report" under Expense.

  • On the Expense report page, you will see the details for all client expenses.

  • You can filter by:

    • Expensed At Date

    • Invoice Date

    • Member

    • Client

    • Client Originator

    • Client Manager

    • Matter

    • Matter Originator

    • Matter Manager

    • Charge Member

    • Status

    • Billing Contact

    • Division

    • Include Inactive Matters: Yes or No

    • LEDES Expense Code

  • Click "Settings" in the top right of the table results to turn on and off columns to display

  • Click "Export Reports" to view your report in CSV format

    • Note: Exported data will reflect the table results with any filters applied. Clear filters if you want to view all data.
