Overview
ZenKM To-Go is a web-based application that automatically caches itself in your browser for offline access. You can access it like any website, and it will load even without an internet connection after the initial setup.
Getting Started
Access ZenKM To-Go:
In the ZenCase app, navigate to the "ZenKM" tab from the left sidebar navigation and select the "All" section.
Click the "Open ZenKM To-Go" link in the top right corner.
On your first visit, a popup in the bottom right corner will confirm that the offline setup is complete. No additional installation or "add to desktop" steps are required.
Exporting Matters For ZenKM To-Go
To view a matter offline, you must first export it from ZenCase:
In the "All" section of the ZenKM tab, click "Export To-Go" to open the export dialog.
Filter by client or select a specific matter.
Once the export is complete, click the "Open" link in the export dialog to import the matter into ZenKM To-Go.
Important: You must click the "Open" link to complete the import. If you do not, the matter will not be available in ZenKM To-Go.
The matter is now saved on your device for offline access.
Managing Matters in ZenKM To-Go
Switching Between Matters:
Use the dropdown menu in the top left corner of the ZenKM To-Go app to select a different matter.
Updating Matter Information:
To keep offline matter data current, repeat the export process. Each new export overwrites the previous offline copy, so no duplicate cleanup is needed.
Deleting a Matter:
Open the matter in ZenKM To-Go and click the "Delete" button in the top right corner.
This removes the offline copy from your device but does not affect data in the main ZenCase app.
Security Considerations
ZenKM To-Go stores matter data on your device without requiring a user login after export.
Avoid using ZenKM To-Go on shared or public devices, or any device that might be accessed by unauthorized individuals.
Treat exported matters in ZenKM To-Go as unprotected documents containing sensitive information.
