What Do We Allow For Import?
We currently support the following data to be imported into ZenCase via a CSV file which must be imported in the following order:
Be sure to import your Organization defaults first, such as Locations, Divisions, Relationship Roles, Matter Types, Billing Cycles, Billing Types, Member Types (aka Member Roles), Subject Matters, Task Types, Payment Methods, Invoice Terms, Vendors and Tags
Also make sure to import your Case information before billing, such as Members, Contacts, Matters, And Tasks
It is best to download the import templates provided below and to ensure the data is consistently formatted to match the template for the best migration success of your firm's data.
It is recommended to have a backup of your firm's data in a secure file system or data center to ensure no data is lost.
Note: All Importers are limited to 100,000 records per CSV file.
How to Import Task Blueprint Libraries
Importing Task Blueprint Libraries into ZenCase can be done via uploading a CSV file from the Task Blueprint's list page.
You can use our CSV template file to ensure you format your CSV correctly.

Fields that can be imported in this specific order:

Upload Your CSV File
Once you have your CSV file filled out, you can then upload your CSV from ZenCase:
Go to the Task Blueprints list page in ZenCase
Click on the down arrow button next to "Import From CSV"
In the dropdown options, click the "Import Blueprint Libraries From CSV" button
Choose the CSV file you want to upload
Click "Save"
Once your import is complete, you will see the new blueprint libraries on the Task Blueprints list page.
How to Import Task Blueprints For Blueprint Libraries
Importing Task Blueprints for Blueprint Libraries into ZenCase can be done via uploading a CSV file from the Task Blueprint's list page.

Upload Your CSV File
Once you have your CSV file filled out, you can then upload your CSV from ZenCase:
Go to the Task Blueprints list page in ZenCase
Click on the down arrow button next to "Import From CSV"
In the dropdown options, click the "Import Task Blueprints From CSV" button
Choose the CSV file you want to upload
Click "Save"
Once your import is complete, you will see the new task blueprints when you view or edit an existing blueprint library on the Task Blueprints list page.
