View Client Refunds
You can view all of your client refund payments from the Refunds list page which is available from the left sidebar navigation. Click on the "Refunds" or the dollar with arrows icon link.
Once on the Refunds list page, you can perform various actions:
Add client refund
Add client refund attachment
Remove client refund attachment
Edit client refund
Delete a client refund
Search or filter by:
Client
Pay To / Vendor
Payment
Creator
Click the "All Filters" button to filter by more filter options.
Issue Client Refund
You can easily issue a client refund payment as long as a payment has unallocated funds which have not been applied to an invoice.
On the Refunds list page, you can add a client refund:
Go to Refunds list page
Click "Add Client Refund"
In the "Add New Client Refund" page, you can select the payment to issue refund.
Select "Payment Client" from dropdown to filter down the list of payments
Select "Payment Payer" from dropdown to filter down the list of payments
Select "Payment" from dropdown
Enter amount
Note: The amount will be auto populated by default to be the full unallocated amount of the payment you selected. You can change the amount to a number between 0 and the full unallocated payment amount.
Select "Pay To / Vendor" from dropdown
Enter description
Enter note
Add any attachments as needed
Click "Save"
Congratulations! You have successfully issued a client refund payment and you should now see your refund in the Refunds list.
Edit Client Refund
On the Refunds list page, you can edit a client refund:
Go to Refunds list page
Search or filter your table results
Under the Actions column, click the "..." three dots icon
Click "Edit Client Refund"
In the "Edit Client Refund" page, you can edit certain fields.
Note: In order to edit the refund amount, you will need to delete the client refund and create a new client refund.
Edit the description
Edit the note
Add or remove any attachments as needed
Click "Save"
Congratulations! You have successfully edited a client refund payment.
