View Unbilled Charges from Time & Expenses List Page

You can view all of your unbilled charges from the Time & Expenses list page which is available from the left sidebar navigation. Click on the "Time & Expenses" or the clock icon link.

Once on the Time & Expenses list page, you can perform various actions:

View Daily Hours Overview Chart

On the Time & Expenses list page, you can get a quick overview of how many hours you have entered for time each day for the selected month. You will also see a total monthly hours which is a sum of all the time entered for that month.

At the top of the page, you will see under Daily Hours Overview:

  • Total Month Hours

  • Month select dropdown

  • Selected month daily chart with time entry hours for the day

The graph is color coded to display when the hours are above, equal, or below an 8 hour work day:

  • Green = 8 hours exactly

  • Yellow = Over 8 hours and under 11 hours

  • Red = Over 11 hours

Please note that the weekends are greyed out in the chart so that you can quickly see hours entered during the week and hours entered on a weekend.

Save Custom Filters on Time & Expenses List Page

When you filter charges, you have the ability to "save" the filter options you currently have applied to the charges list. This is a very powerful feature to help you organize and quickly access the specific charges you need.

How To Save A Custom Filter:

  • On the Time & Expenses list page, select a filter dropdown on the page, such as Client, Matter, or Member. You can also select the "More filters" button for more filtering options.

  • After you have applied the filters you need, click "Save Filters"

  • Enter your custom filter name in the pop up panel

  • Click "Save Filters"

  • You will now see a new oval, pill shaped button underneath the filters

  • Click "Clear Filters" to clear all filter options

  • Click your new custom filter name button and you will see all the filters re-applied automatically!

By applying filters and saving custom filters, you can categorize and organize the specific information you are looking for and it's as simple as a click of a button to view your filtered list.
