How To Add Memos To Tasks In ZenCase

How To Add Task Memos From Tasks List Page

You can add memos to any task in ZenCase from the Tasks list page.

  • Go to the Tasks page from left navigation bar

  • Click the comment bubble with plus icon from the Actions column

  • Select Tags from the dropdown if needed

    • Click on the tags dropdown selection, you will see an "Add New Tag" button at the bottom of the dropdown to create new tags

    • Note: If you do not see the "Add New Tag" button, then you may not have permissions to create new tags. Tags are created by your firm administrator.

  • Enter Memo in the text editor

  • Click "Save"

You should now see your memo added to the task if you view the task details.

How To Add Task Memos From Tasks Details Page

You can add memos to any task in ZenCase from the task details page.

  • Go to the Tasks page from left navigation bar

  • Click on the "..." three dots icon under Actions column

  • Click "View Task Details"

  • You will be redirected to the task details page

  • Scroll down to the Memos section of the page

  • Under Add Memo, select Tags from the dropdown if needed

    • Click on the tags dropdown selection, you will see an "Add New Tag" button at the bottom of the dropdown to create new tags

    • Note: If you do not see the "Add New Tag" button, then you may not have permissions to create new tags. Tags are created by your firm administrator.

  • Enter Memo in the text editor

  • Click "Save"

You should now see your memo added to the left section of the Memos area.

You can search and filter memos by:

  • Author

  • Tags

  • Created Date

  • Updated Date

You can quickly organize and find the memo you're looking for with the use of tags of filters on the page.
