In this video, we'll walk through the SharePoint Practice Pro mobile app and show you how to manage your work on the go, from tracking time to entering expenses, managing tasks, and accessing contacts.

Once you've downloaded the Practice Pro mobile app from the App Store or Google Play, open the app and sign in using your email and password. If enabled, you can also use facial recognition for quicker access.

After signing in, you'll land on the home screen. At the top, you'll see any active timers. Below that, you'll see your bookmarked matters, as well as bookmarked contacts and clients.

At the bottom of the screen, there are five main tabs: Home, Tasks, Contacts, Charges, and Account. Timers sync across devices, so you can start or stop them from your desktop or mobile app interchangeably.

To start a new timer, tap the blue timer icon in the bottom right corner. You can tap pause to temporarily stop the timer, and once you finish your work, click stop. After stopping, select the pencil icon to finish filling out the entry details. From here, you can attach a matter, enter a description, or use voice dictation. You can also adjust time using quick add or subtract buttons, delete the entry, or resume the timer.

After exiting to the home screen, you'll see the timer at the top and be able to stop it there. Then tap the timer icon to edit the entry if needed, and tap save in the top right corner to complete it.

Below your timers, you'll see your bookmarked matters. From here, you can quickly add a time entry, record an expense, or enter a fixed fee for the selected matter. Tap time entry to log hours, add a description, and complete any required fields marked with red asterisks. Tap expense entry to record an expense by entering the vendor, date, amount, and other details. You can also attach a receipt by uploading from your photo library or taking a photo directly in the app. Tap fixed fee to create a fixed fee and enter the required information.

At the bottom of the home screen, you'll see your bookmarked contacts or clients. Selecting a contact allows you to view phone numbers, emails, and addresses on file, as well as send a text message, place a call, or compose an email.

In the Tasks tab, you'll see all upcoming tasks assigned to you under My Tasks. Each task displays the matter and client, description, start and due dates, and status. To create a new task, tap the plus icon. You can filter your task list using the filter icon in the top right corner. Depending on your permissions, you may also see an All Tasks view to monitor tasks assigned to others.

The Contacts tab displays all clients and contacts in the system, with bookmarked ones appearing at the top. Use the filter icon to search by name or number. Selecting a contact shows all stored details. To create a new contact or client, tap the plus icon and enter their information. You’ll also see any saved filters across the top, such as origination or leads clients, allowing you to quickly refine your list.

When you're ready to review your recorded time and expenses, tap the Charges tab at the bottom of the screen. This tab displays all of your time and expense entries. Use the calendar icon to view total hours by month or day. Select a specific date to see detailed entries, and switch between dates easily by selecting another one. To remove date filters, tap the filter icon in the top right corner.

From this screen, you can also tap the plus icon to add new time entries, expense entries, or fixed fees. If you have the appropriate permissions, you can switch to All Charges to view entries submitted by other users. You’ll also have access to any saved filters to quickly refine your view.

In the Account tab, you can log out of the app at any time. For security purposes, the app may also log you out automatically after a period of inactivity.

That concludes this video on the Practice Pro mobile app. With the ability to track time in real time, submit expenses with attachments, manage tasks, and access or update contacts, you can stay productive and connected wherever you are, all from your mobile device.
