This video will walk you through the Reports. Looking at the various reports available within the system. You will learn how to access and understand the available reports.

Practice Pro Reports: Overview and Usage

Practice Pro offers a comprehensive set of reports designed to help you monitor activity across your firm. These reports provide visibility into case management, time tracking, productivity, and overall performance, allowing you to track progress and evaluate workload effectively.


Accessing Reports

To access reports:

  1. Click Reports in the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. The reports displayed are based on your security permissions.

    • If you do not have access to certain reports, they will not appear in your list.

Note: Time-related reports display hours as they exist before being sent to Finance Core. Once hours are transferred, any adjustments (such as write-ups or write-downs) will not be reflected in Practice Pro.


Running a Report

To run a report:

  1. Select the report by clicking its corresponding tile.

  2. A brief summary appears beneath the report name in the upper-left corner.

  3. For more detailed information, click the question mark icon.


Using Filters

Reports come with commonly used filters applied by default.

To modify filters:

  1. Click All Filters.

  2. Adjust selections as needed.

    • Active filters are highlighted in yellow.

    • The date filter is dynamic and updates automatically as time progresses.

  3. Click Apply Filters to refresh the report.


Saving Filters

If you frequently use the same filter settings, you can save them for quick access:

  1. Click Save Filters.

  2. Enter a name for the filter set.

  3. Click Save.

Your saved filter will appear as a button below the search bar, making it easy to apply whenever needed.


Exporting Reports

All reports can be exported for offline use or sharing.

To export a report:

  1. Click the Export Report button.

  2. Select which columns to include by checking or unchecking options.

  3. Choose your preferred format from the dropdown:

    • CSV

    • PDF

    • Excel

  4. Click Export.

To download your exported report:

  1. Click the Notification icon.

  2. Select and download the report.

Important: Exported data reflects only the results currently shown in the report, based on applied filters. To export all available data, clear filters before exporting.
